I am an Internationally Certified Make-up Artist with a true passion for makeup.

I believe that there is beauty in everyone and it brings me great joy to enhance my clients natural glow. Seeing their self-esteem boost after a session in my chair is the ultimate reward.

After being involved in a serious motor vehicle accident in 2014, I was not only left with permanent joint damage in my ankle and lower back but also some noticeable scars. I naturally became very self-conscious of these scars and its been a journey for me to realize that there is still beauty underneath them.

I studied an International Bridal/Fashion/Photography Makeup course through Smudge Makeup Academy. I then went on to do a Professional Airbrush Makeup Course at Face2Face Beauty Academy. During this time I also received numerous inquiries regarding hair styling, and ended up enrolling for a Hair Styling course at Cecilia Fourie Academy in 2017 which I ended up loving as much as makeup.

I also attended a One-On-One Pro Hairstyling Refreshing Workshop with Diva Hairstyles in 2022

I started Blush Moments by Renske on a part time basis in 2016 while I was permanently employed at a photography studio. It was at the studio that I realized that the world of makeup artistry can be a full-time career. With a very supportive hubby by my side who constantly encouraged me to pursue my dreams and a giant leap of faith, I pursued my career as full-time Hair & Makeup Artist.

I have a home based studio in Kuilsriver where I do most bookings & trials and then travel for on location shoots & weddings.

After getting numerous requests from clients and brides to sell veils and hair accessories, I launched my Online Store BM Collections.

BM Collection is a collection of beautiful Bridal Accessories and also has a selection of very versatile accessories for all occasions. These accessories can be dressed up or down depending on your occasion. These items are beautifully packaged and can be collected or delivered to your doorstep.
